Message: I have an apple tree that is about 6 foot tall and an inch in diameter, I am wanting to move this as it is currently in the middle of the garden. Can you recommend when this should be done?

Message: For a tree of this size, wait until the heat of summer is over. Early September would be a good time as the ground is still warm to help with establishing new roots, but the air temperature is a little cooler.
